How to Prepare for your Interview

At Nemographia, we cherish your stories and want your experience to be meaningful and enjoyable. Preparing for your Nemographia memoir session is about creating a calm, comfortable environment where your story can flow naturally.

Here's how to get ready:

Wear Comfortable Clothes. Choose something that you feel good in, that is comfortable to wear.

Sit in a Comfortable Chair:  Choose a supportive seat, such as your favourite armchair or a cushioned stool, to ensure you feel relaxed throughout the session.

Hydration and Comfort: Keep a glass of water nearby and choose a time of day when you are most alert, we find mornings best.

Switch Off Phone: Turn off your phone or set it to airplane mode and turn off all notifications to avoid interruptions and maintain privacy.

Make No Plans: Clear your schedule around the session time to stay present and unhurried, allowing for a focused experience.

Privacy: Select a quiet, private space in your home where you won't be disturbed, ensuring a personal and secure setting, ideally there is nobody listening or interrupting.

Good Lighting: Position yourself in a well-lit area; ideally a north-facing window for soft, even natural light that flatters your appearance.

Avoid direct sunlight to prevent harsh shadows.

If using artificial light you should aim to be well lit without shadows, a diffused light is best.

Framing: Sit close enough to your device so the screen captures your upper body (from chest to head), providing a clear and engaging view for video sessions.

This preparation helps us capture your story with care, ensuring an optimal  and relaxed experience.
